Describing the Destruction

The Israeli destruction reached various Lebanese areas, but focused on Southern Lebanon due to the field encounters. It was also intense and vulgar in the Southern Suburbs, and also unprecedented in the Israeli wars in the Arab region.
No region in the world has witnessed an ongoing conflict as the one held between us and the Zionists, who violated our lands in Palestine, Sinai, Golan, and Southern Lebanon. This conflict will not end until this so-called “Israel” is diminished, and the Zionists leave our lands.
This conflict was manifested through several wars that commenced in the beginning of the last century to today, and it took many forms and styles: at times it would be open wars, and at other times, it is dormant volcano. After The Catastrophe came The Setback (War of 1967), then the October war, then the invasion of Lebanon in 1982, in which a resistance had been born from the womb of the people that caused severe losses to the Zionist enemy, breaking its strength and pride. This resistance drove the Israelis out of Southern Lebanon in the year 2000, in which this enemy returned to perform an aggressive attack in August 2006, bombing Southern and Saida villages, reaching the entire Southern Suburb and Western, Eastern, and Northern Bekaa.

Yet this aggression that lasted 33 days brought “Israel” nothing but one disappointment after another, whereby the Resistance proved its purpose, efficiency, and tremendous potential of overpowering the enemy and threatening it amidst its own stronghold. The Resistance prevailed, Lebanon triumphed, and every free spirit in the world triumphed, believing that “Israel” is the enemy of humanity as a whole.

The aggression ended, but another form of aggression manifested, that resembled the accusations against the Resistance, claiming that it brought destruction, death, and chaos. Yet a Resistance that was able to overpower and humiliate the enemy is able to reconstruct after destruction, create life from death, and bring beauty to chaos.
