Stages of working with common divisions

After establishing teams of specialized engineers, and surveying the ground common divisions, where the damaged building were identified with the size of damage after it was examined by the organization's technical examination office. This was organized by detailed forms that were set for this aim, and the tasks were classified according to the following specialized titles:
- Constructive reparation file
- Painting file
- Elevators' file
- Wells' file
- Electricity generators
- The roof and façade file

An examination file was prepared for each building, though which the amount of need work and prices were identified. In accordance with the aforementioned, offers by at least three entrepreneurs were invited to guarantee the implementation of the project with high qualities and agreeable prices.
As for the entrepreneur who took the bid, he had to present patrols and surveillances that showed the percentage of work done, while the examination office takes responsibility of supervising the workshops.
In order to guarantee the right of residents, especially regarding the peeling of the roofs, the institutions were forced into committing to 5 year guarantee to repair any damage caused by mal implementation. Before this stage, the insulator materials are tested in presence of the residents.
The buildings damaged within the range of the Beirut southern suburb, and classified under the supervision of the "common division center" were 1270.
Despite the great challenges faced by the "common divisions center" in the management of the project, it was able to finish the work with good quality and quickly. The success of this achievement goes back to the great cooperation by the residents with the follow up of the field works, who kept a lookout on the common divisions in monitoring the contractors to guarantee the good implementation. This was despite the extra burden imposed on the center, where it contained its work with what was directly caused by the aggression; and the experience was successful.

When taking into account that each building needs about three months to be built, the spirit and determination and responsibility upon which the work is based would be realized; with reference to that during the first six months since the project was launched, a bigger part of the buildings were restored with the help of a team consisting not more than 30 members.
