The common divisions are the general services for the building, in which all resident participate in, including water, electricity, staircase, elevator, wells, parking lots, roofs, and the building's façade.
The role of the common divisions' center, which was launched in 15/11/2006, focused on helping residents in repairing and reconstructing the damaged parts of their buildings after the war. This was part of the overall reconstruction and rebuilding operation adopted by Jihad al Binaa, on the basis of responsibility towards the steadfast and resisting people who raised the flag of victory despite all wounds.
Jihad al Binaa was on the lookout to adopt this file in the southern suburb, after it found it difficult to hand over the management of this project to the resident in an effective and less-expensive way. The ownership of the building complies of many people, and there was a significant absence of building committees; unlike the villages where there is one-family or individual ownerships.
