Sixteen
teams worked on painting the varnishing the
buildings of the Beirut southern suburb with the
colors of victory and the colors of earth, to
reflect a masterpiece, which the Zionist enemy
thought would remain dark. Through that the
resistance had completed its promise, and the
southern suburb returned more beautiful that it
was.
The final stage of reconstruction was entitled "Beautifying
Buildings of the Southern Suburb". This project
included:
- Maintenance of facades of the suburb's
buildings affected by the July 2006 aggression.
- Tackling the external wall cracks and paint
peeling.
- Varnishing and coloring.
This project included the buildings adjacent to
the destructed buildings, as well as the
neighboring buildings, in order to maintain the
general luster of the street.
In this project, Jihad al Binaa was keen to
adopt high degree standards for public safety to
protect pedestrians, workers, and the
surrounding. It also ensured all workshops
against accidents, including civil liabilities.
