Receiving volunteers

As for the volunteers who came from different Lebanese areas of different political affiliations, and from Arab countries including Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Syria, Bahrain, and Sudan, they came as individuals and specialized engineering teams to give a helping hand.
The appeal was answered by 650 engineers, in addition to 3000 volunteers, and therefore Jihad al Binaa was able to make use of their expertise and deploy them in teams that worked with accurate harmony and integration. At the time when the government and domestic institutions started their work, Jihad al Binaa had already accomplished 60% from this file, and had set its bills and statistics and presented them to the official organizations and institutions to benefit from them.
This speed in field work, land survey, statistics, and direct reconstruction, were the concern of the whole world, where it admired how this organization shock off the dust of its centers and offices, and lived in tents and neighborhoods in order to facilitate the people's affairs.
After a while, Jihad al Binaa became a rich scoop for journalists, especially in America. For example, a New York Time article scoffed the reconstruction that occurred after Hurricane Katrina in comparison to the reconstruction that happened after the July 2006 war. The article included a call for US President George W. Bush to hand over building bridges and destructions to Hizbullah. The article also highlighted how Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah promised the people, and how the reconstruction and rebuilding directly started.
Once again, Jihad al Binaa proved that the sincere will and good management can make miracles, and that this great nation is fit for service and redemption.
As for the interference strategies, they were divided into stages:
- Opening the roads before people coming back, and removing the rubble
- Paying housing compensations
- Paying reconstruction compensations
- Operating the reconstruction of common sections of the Southern Suburb buildings
- Operating the "Waad" project to reconstruct the Southern Suburb
- Preparing technical evaluation files for the buildings that were affected and not possible to collapse
- Paying the official compensation differences
- Launching a program to aid the farmers and cattle resources
- Coordinating and cooperating with the donor sides during the stages of aid, habilitation, and long term development
Jihad al Binaa has worked on achieving these stages simultaneously, taking into consideration the humanitarian priorities, were Jihad al Binaa set upon its eyes the responsibility of preventing the displacement of people and maintaining their dignity.
