The Islamic Health Society continued for more
than three consecutive months after the end of
the aggression, to provide all the medical
services (checkups, medications, vaccines and
dental emergencies' treatment) for free in its
permanent and mobile centers distributed as
follows: 20 clinics in the south, 15 clinics in
Bekaa, and 4 clinics in Beirut. The number of
people who benefited from the said services was
510,000 citizens for three months. The services
included presented medications (498,000 samples)
and checkups, surgery, laboratory tests, X-rays,
and all that through all directorates of the
health society. Then some centers were developed
as alternative to the demolished health centers
like Dar al-Hawraa in Beir el Abed.
